"Too often I would hear men boast of the miles covered that day, rarely of what they had seen.” – Louis L’Amour
These first 21 words encompass all that I hope this blog will be. Me, recording my adventures of a thousand mile journey or one of just a few steps; both earthly and spiritual. This quote hits home as I grew up seeing our bookshelf lined with books by Louis L'Amour, man who wrote of adventures in the American frontier and one of my dad's favorite authors. I am a farmer's daughter with a passion for agriculture. I also have a traveler's appetite for seeing new things and don't find myself in one place for very long.
My interests, passions and desires are about as varied as the contents of a suitcase, but once they're all stuffed in a zipped up...it's what makes me...ME.
I dream of living a life of adventure and simplicity; finding the extraordinary in the everyday.
So, in my nomadic spirit...I thought I would start this blog and see where it goes!
Joyful Journeys!
